20 year Rekord Marine employee Jeremy Hill will be competing in this years 50^th Annual Transpac Yacht Race from LA to Honolulu 2,225 nautical miles (4120km)

This will be his 4^th Ocean race, Victoria-Maui 1980, 2014, 16 and 9^th ocean passage.

The Yacht “LONGBOARD” is a Riptide 35’, 5200lbs water ballasted

Swiftsure Lightship Classic Race – 3 consecutive overall wins
Southern Straits Race – 2 overall wins
Vic Maui International Yacht Race – 1st elapsed time and overall winner in 2014; 3rd overall winner in 2016
Round the County – 1st overall win in 2014
Fraser River Lightship Race – 1st overall winner four times
